The OwlCrate Jr. owl has been working over time flying our box across the Pacific Ocean all the way to tiny New Zealand. Hope she gets a good rest before next month’s Written in the Stars orders are ready to be sent out.

Next year I’m thinking about training to be a teacher, and the age I would absolutely adore to teach are kids between 8 and 12 years. Why? My reasons are somewhat selfish, as kids in this age range have that glorious wonder in bundles, they’re curious about their world, and haven’t lost their sillies yet. Their influence brings me back to this enchanting time in life. Similarly, these are the reasons why I read middle grade fiction and encourage my kids to do the same. It’s a magical age.

OwlCrate Jr is a new middle grade subscription box that will bring that wonder and enchantment into your kids’ lives. The book for March—Hello, Universe—delves into themes of friendship, bullying, and being true to yourself. Characters are diverse and realistic. “In one day, four lives weave together in unexpected ways.” This intro sentence got me hooked right away. To continue the theme of Unexpected Friends, accompanying the book we received two bookmarks, animal stickers, a unicorn and dragon buddy badge, a Harry Potter puzzle, bright retro skipping rope, a HELLO from the author Erin Entrada Kelly, and a sneak peek into next month’s book box.

Are your kids fascinated about the stars, the constellations, and astrological mythology? Are they adventurers? Dreamers? Yes! Then you wont want to miss out on the “Written in the Stars” OwlCrate Jr Middle Grade box for April. When subscribing, use the code READING10 for a discount. Head to THIS link, and happy reading!
